GoFertil Pink®: supplement for female fertility
GoFertil Pink® is a food supplement that provides nutritional support for women during the preconception period, with myo-inositol, folic acid, zinc, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Like any supplement, it does not guarantee or determine conception: it helps complete nutrient intake while trying to conceive.
Female fertility depends on many factors: age, menstrual cycle regularity, hormonal balance, diet, and lifestyle. With age, for example, ovarian reserve and egg quality tend to decline, along with the probability of conception.
The formula, with all the active ingredients in a single sachet, provides valuable nutritional support alongside a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Who is the female fertility supplement intended for?
GoFertil Pink® is intended for adult women who are trying to conceive or preparing to do so, in particular:
- Women who are planning a pregnancy and are in the period leading up to conception
- Women who wish for targeted nutritional support during the preconception period
- Women who wish to supplement their intake of inositol, antioxidants, vitamins, and other minerals in a single sachet
- Women undergoing medically assisted reproduction (MAR), subject to the advice of a healthcare professional
How to support female fertility: diet and lifestyle
Before pregnancy, guidelines recommend taking folic acid (vitamin B9) from at least one month before conception, following a varied and balanced diet, maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding smoking and alcohol, and having a check-up with a doctor or gynecologist, who can also assess thyroid function [1]. A supplement does not replace these steps, but it can complement nutrient intake.
How do supplements for female fertility work?
A fertility supplement is not a medicine and does not act on the causes of infertility: it provides vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that contribute to the normal functioning of the body, which can be useful when diet alone is not enough to meet nutritional needs during the preconception period. For this reason, it should be chosen based on its composition and dosages and used alongside a healthy lifestyle.
What are the benefits of supplements for female fertility?
The benefits that a supplement can claim are only those recognized by the European Union for the individual nutrients [2]. In GoFertil Pink® they are:
- Fertility and reproduction: zinc contributes to normal fertility and normal reproduction [2].
- Antioxidant protection: vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B2, zinc, and selenium contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress [2].
- Energy: vitamin C and B vitamins contribute to normal energy metabolism [2].
- Folate and pregnancy: folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy and, like vitamin D and vitamin B12, plays a role in the process of cell division [2].
Which vitamin helps fertility?
No vitamin by itself “increases” fertility. Folic acid (vitamin B9) is the most recommended before pregnancy: the Italian National Institute of Health recommends taking it from at least one month before conception [1], because insufficient maternal folate levels are a risk factor for neural tube defects in the fetus. Among minerals, zinc is the only nutrient with an authorized claim regarding normal fertility and reproduction [2].
Ingredients and amounts per sachet
Amounts refer to the recommended daily dose of 1 sachet.
- Myo-inositol – 2,000 mg: one of the forms of inositol naturally present in the body, involved in numerous cellular processes. It is the main component of the formula.

- Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) – 50 mg: compound found in mitochondria, the cellular structures that produce energy.

- Vitamin C – 80 mg and vitamin E – 12 mg.
- Astaxanthin – 10 mg: natural carotenoid from the xanthophyll family.

Directions for use
1 sachet per day, to be dissolved in a glass of room-temperature water.
Recommended duration: at least 3 months. This is the duration indicated on the manufacturer's label and corresponds to the preconception period during which supplementation is usually started; for folic acid, the Italian National Institute of Health recommends starting at least one month before conception [1].
If the granules do not dissolve completely, this is not a defect: the high concentration of active ingredients may cause partial aggregation.
Warnings
Food supplements should not be considered substitutes for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.
