Quality and production

Quality and nutraceutical production

Our products are developed in collaboration with an Italian laboratory certified to ISO and GMP standards, with controlled processes at every stage.

Italian production with a specialized partner

GP Nutraceuticals S.r.l. develops its own formulations and entrusts their production to an Italian partner specialized in the manufacture of food supplements.

This choice allows us to focus our work on formulation design and the scientific consistency of our products, while entrusting the production phase to a company with technical expertise, established processes, and certified standards.

GP Nutraceuticals does not directly operate a production facility. The products are made in Italy at specialized facilities that comply with applicable standards. Certificates of analysis (COA) are available upon request for each production batch.

Certified laboratory

Since our founding, we have collaborated with Laboratorio Terapeutico MR, an Italian production partner specialized in the manufacture of food supplements and cosmetics.

Founded in 1930, Laboratorio Terapeutico MR has extensive experience in the sector and is now organized according to certified production standards and defined procedures, with particular attention to continuity, traceability, and control of the various production stages.

Certified standards

Laboratorio Terapeutico MR's production is carried out according to standards that define rigorous requirements for quality, safety, and process control.

  • ISO 9001 – Quality management system for the design, production, and packaging of food supplements and cosmetics.
  • ISO 22000 – International standard for food safety management systems applied to the production of supplements.
  • ISO 22716 – Guidelines on Good Manufacturing Practices for cosmetic products.
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) – Principles and procedures designed to ensure control of production processes, traceability, and high quality standards.

Control and quality at every stage

Production follows a structured process that includes:

  • selection and verification of raw materials;
  • control of processing stages;
  • standardization of production processes;
  • finished product testing;
  • attention to the stability and safety of formulations;
  • batch traceability.

GP Nutraceuticals has certificates of analysis (COA) for each production batch, available upon request.

Development and technical support

Collaboration with a specialized production partner also includes technical support during the various stages of product development.

This includes:

  • support in fine-tuning formulations;
  • continuous improvement of existing products;
  • evaluation of technical and production aspects;
  • adaptation to current regulations.

The process combines formulation and production expertise with the goal of maintaining consistency between design, quality, and compliance.

Targeted formulation

Our work begins with design.

Each formula is based on a precise rationale: ingredients are selected according to the formulation objective and the specific characteristics of the product, avoiding unnecessary or redundant combinations.

This approach allows us to develop targeted formulations that are consistent with the nutritional need for which they were designed.

Quality as a process

The quality of a supplement depends not only on the ingredients used, but also on how they are selected, dosed, controlled, and produced.

For this reason, GP Nutraceuticals develops its own formulations and entrusts their production to a specialized Italian partner, operating through controlled and documented processes throughout the entire production cycle.

An important note: the original text contained “ISO 2200”; I wrote ISO 22000, which is the designation normally used for the food safety standard. Before publishing, I would nevertheless check that this is exactly the certification stated in MR's documents.
